Puppets on Camera is a work-through on the basics of television puppetry including eye focus, lip synch, character voices, posture and timing. We practice sharing the fame and how to work with depth perception on a reverse monitor. We will mostly perform with bare hands, but bring your hand and mouth puppets if you would like for advanced exercises.
Lisa Aimee Sturz is an Emmy award-winning puppeteer whose work spans film, television, stage, and special events. She has worked with Jim Henson Productions, Lucasfilm, Walt Disney Imagineering, PBS, NBC, UNC-TV  the Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium, the Indiana School of Music, and many more.
Lisa is  the Artistic Director of Red Herring Puppets, a professional puppet company specializing in ³edutainment² with curriculum based shows and residencies.  Red Herring Puppets has recently earned the UNIMA citation of Excellence for "Aesop's Fables".
