Matthew McGee is a professional puppeteer and designer with extensive experience in puppet making, performing, and DIY filmmaking. Nurtured since birth to develop an affinity for the arts, Matthew began broadening his artistic horizons by dabbling with the family camcorder at age 12, bringing toys and clay to life on their kitchen table. As technology improved, so did his resources, allowing him to explore the various filmmaking possibilities that are now much more readily available to the public.

Combining his love for puppetry with his love for making movies, while still being a poor college student at the time, Matthew began to test those resources to see what his limitations were with his budget. Turned out, a lack of finances really had no affect on any part of the creative process, so he began to make some puppet-films! Today he is still using the same penny pinching techniques to bring his characters to life on the....online screen!

One of his latest shorts was entered into Sprint's national 'Epic Mini Movie' Youtube Contest, where it took 15th out of over 270 entries. The total cost for the whole shoot: less than $20!
