Construction of articulated figures and transformation tricks for use in toy theatre. Participants will receive sheets of two-dimensional figures and objects to cut out, put together and mount. A toy theatre stage will be available for trying out and performing withthe resulting mechanisms.

George and Ann Neff are experienced puppeteers and seasoned educators who have taught toy theatre and puppetry in workshops and college courses. They have mounted a number of toy theatre productions and built several different model theaters. The Neffs have performed at International Toy Theatre Festivals in Harderwijk, The Netherlands and in 2010 at the Great Small Works International Toy Theatre Festival in Brooklyn.
