Whether you are applying as an individual or as a 501(c)(3) organization, find out what makes a winning application from a panel of experts representing government, regional arts and private foundation funders. The second half of the workshop will cover the pros and cons of becoming a 501(c)(3) organization.  Panelists: Monica Prothro, City of Atlanta Office of Cultural Affairs: Nikki Estes, South Arts; Lisa Cremin, Metropolitan Atlanta Arts Fund.

Rainie Jueschke, CFRE, has been the Center’s Development Director since 2007. Jueschke is a Certified Fundraising Executive with more than 20 years of experience in resource development. Her varied experience includes work in the environment, species conservation, women’s health, consumer advocacy, domestic violence, and international health training. She was named the 2001 Professional Fundraiser of the Year by the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Central Carolina Chapter. She has served on the board of directors for the AFP, Ahimsa House, American Cancer Society, Friends of Friedrich Wilderness Park, and was a founding board member of the Government Canyon Natural History Association in Helotes, Texas. Jueschke is a graduate of Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas with a BA in Communications.
