Super Simple Marionettes

Description:

What happens when you mix some simple origami and puppetry? You get miniature marionettes! We will build and string a basic marionette with all of the features, movement, and functions of a regular puppet. Time permitting, we will color and/or decorate our puppets, and work on some basic manipulation.
age 9 and up

Bio of Workshop Presenter:

A performer for most of his life, Applause Unlimited cofounder Christopher Hudert has played on nearly every type of stage imaginable, from table top to the Super Dome. His experience in such a wide variety of venues has given him a wealth of stage knowledge that he loves to share.
