TV Puppetry 101

Description:
Do you have experience puppeteering, but haven't done a lot or any TV puppetry? This "hands-on" class will cover use of monitors, and basic movement for cameras - eye focus, filling the frame, sharing the frame, etc. Puppets will be provided, or bring your favorite puppet.

Bio of Workshop Presenter:
Lee Armstrong has over twenty-five years of experience both behind and in front of the TV camera. She puppeteered on Canadian TV shows for ten years, including three years as a puppeteer on Henson's Emmy winning "Fraggle Rock." Moving to California, Lee taught video production at Viacom for three years before starting her own company, Images In Motion Inc. with Kamela Portuges. Clients include Leapfrog, Disney, Cartoon Network, Gramercy Films, USDA Forest Service, etc. She is the recipient of two regional Emmys, as a producer and puppeteer/writer and is the P of A Consultant for Video Production.
