Join the cast of Spain's Los Titiriteros for an in depth look at their approach to puppetry; visual script, specific aesthetic codes, the stage and scene, manipulation (mechanisms, tricks), the relationship with the audience, pacing, lighting, music, and effects, use of word and silence, gesture, and the many possibilities of puppet theatre.

Bio of Workshop Presenter:

Los Titiriteros de Binéfar has performed for over thirty years in streets, plazas, theaters, tents, and pavilions throughout the world including Andorra, Portugal, France, Italy, Hungary, Germany, Czech Republic, Finland, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Belgium, Morocco, Japan, Taiwan, Mexico, Brazil, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Canada, Croatia, Greece, Colombia and the United States. They have performed from the Guggenheim Museum in New York to the slums of San Paulo; from the Music Festival of San Sebastian to the ghettos of Puerto Rico; from the Cannes Festival in France to the prisons and psychiatric wards in Spain.
