Participants will be guided in the building of a dimmer for stage lights. Several of these dimmers can be wired together to create a dimmer board similar to a professional board with the exception that there is no master dimmer. (A dimmer board with a master costs over $1500.00.) Participants are required to bring their own tools; needle nose pliers, pliers with a cutting side, sharp utility knife, flat bladed and Phillips screwdrivers. All material will be furnished.

Bio of Workshop Presenter:
Although an art teacher by profession, puppetry has been Fred's artistic forte for 65 years. You may have read some of his performance reviews in The Puppetry Journal. His wide experiences in puppet construction techniques from "ancient" papier-mache and Plastic wood to contemporary casting techniques as well as technical stagecraft and lighting make him an ideal workshop leader.
