Description:

Tabletop puppetry is a unique style of Puppetry performed on a surface with the Puppeteers in full view of the audience. It can be very expressive and elegant. To be done successfully it requires the use of techniques and a special practiced skill to bring the puppet to life. They are also freeing and a lot of fun! Come play!

Bio of Workshop Presenter:

Mary Hildebrand Nagler, has been a solo performer for 37 years, been a Puppet builder for Emmy award winning, Images in Motion - Sonoma, CA., and is currently working as a builder at the Puppet Heap in Hoboken NJ! A recent graduate of the University Puppet arts MFA program, she also loves to teach!
