Thistle Theatre presents a delightful and humorous adaptation of the Mexican folktale. Brother Coyote wants one thing and one thing only, to catch and eat one of Doña Conchita's plump chickens. Quick-witted Sister Fox is always one step ahead of him, waiting to trick him with one of her clever schemes to keep all the chickens to herself! Spanish, English and yes...plenty of chickens! Adapted from traditional Mexican stories by Stephanie Diaz and Jean Enticknap, original music and songs by Sue Ennis.
Puppeteers Brian Stabile, Lisa A. Haslbauer and Gina Wilhelm are teamed up in this production directed by Jean Enticknap. Puppets designed by Brian Kooser and built by Brian Kooser, Jean Enticknap and Hyeon-Soog Chung.
